Car travelers from Mumbai should go straight for almost 200 km on NH3 till Nasik and then take the connecting road to SH17. Do not take the left turn at Dwarka Circle in Nasik (as advised by Google Maps or most other web portals). Instead continue straight for a couple of more kms and take the connecting road to SH17. This will save you 15-20 minutes of travelling time.
